Can I eat this?

Type it exactly how you would ask me. Example: “Can I eat aloo paratha today?”
🌐 Verified mode Simple strict mode: every food returns only GOOD CHOICE, BAD CHOICE or AVOID. Anything uncertain, deep-fried, rich/cream-heavy, junk-like, or merely “occasional” becomes AVOID.

Raises priority for fluids + soluble fiber

YOUR 7-DAY COOK-FRIENDLY PLAN

Weekly Diet

3 main meals + 2 simple snacks every day • familiar Indian foods • built around bowel comfort, cholesterol awareness and muscle-building protein.
Open a day → How to cook: the exact planned dish is clearly separated from an optional Ninja Combi alternative. The alternative is never presented as the same recipe.
💪 ~115–125 g protein 🌾 ~32–40 g fiber 💧 ~2.5–2.8 L starting fluid target
🟢 Stool-friendlyGradual fiber + fluids + cooked vegetables
❤️ Cholesterol-awareMore legumes/soy; less butter, cream and frying
💪 Muscle-focusedProtein spread across the whole day
👨‍🍳 Cook-friendlyCommon Indian ingredients and simple methods
Meal Prep Day?
The diet itself stays the same. Choose whether your cook prepares fresh daily or does some batch prep.
Cook's golden rules
🥄 Keep visible oil modest — roughly 1 tsp per individual cooked dish where practical. 🥗 Use cooked vegetables if raw salad causes bloating. 🍎 Prefer whole fruit to juice. 🚫 Keep namkeen, samosa, bhatura, creamy gravies and routine sweets occasional. 💧 Increase fiber gradually and pair it with adequate water. 🚽 Do not strain or sit on the toilet for long periods.

Indian food library

Search common dishes, staples, snacks and proteins. Unknown foods can still be checked using the rule engine.
262+ starter foods/dishes in this version. This is intentionally extensible; no honest database can contain literally every home recipe because ingredients and oil vary by household.
FOR YOUR COOK

Simple cooking rules

Use this plate rule most days
½ vegetables • ¼ protein • ¼ roti/rice/grain
Protein = dal/rajma/chana/tofu/soy/eggs/chicken/fish. Use modest oil. Keep fried foods occasional.
Easy daily instructions
✅ Put a real protein source in every main meal.
✅ Include 2 fruits + vegetables + dal/legumes most days.
✅ Prefer phulka/roti, dalia, oats, moderate rice over fried breads.
✅ Keep ghee/butter/cream and restaurant-style gravies modest.
✅ For hard-stool days: choose softer high-fiber meals, fruit, dal, cooked veg and steady water.
✅ Ninja Combi: grill/air-fry/steam more often than deep-frying.
For chicken, cook to 74°C / 165°F in the thickest part and use a food thermometer.

Real-time sync & family/cook access
Not synced
Water, meals, symptom toggles and Meal Prep choice can sync across every paired device in near real time.
Private link: the family/cook pairing link grants access to this shared diet log. Share it only with trusted people. Your Tavily/Cloudflare API keys are never included in it.
AI assistant connection
For secure online AI, connect the included Cloudflare Worker backend. API keys stay on the server — never inside this HTML file.
Note: “Test connection” checks the Worker/AI configuration. “Test live web search” performs one real Tavily query, so it is the definitive search test.
Optional wider nutrition lookup
If a food is not in the local library, the app can try USDA FoodData Central using its public DEMO_KEY. It has low rate limits and is better for generic ingredients/branded foods than Indian home recipes.
Privacy
Your quick logs, water and symptom toggles are stored locally as an offline cache. If cloud sync is enabled, the shared progress copy is also stored in your private Cloudflare sync profile and broadcast to paired devices. When the online AI is connected, your question and (if enabled) relevant diet profile are sent to your Cloudflare Worker/Workers AI; when live web search is used, a search query is also sent to Tavily Search. API keys remain server-side. The optional USDA lookup sends only the food search term to USDA.
